Matthew Walker, 48
Matthew Walker, 48, died after being hit by a car while walking on Princess Road, Moss Side, on 8 March.
A son, brother, partner, stepfather and grandfather who ran marathons and went hiking for causes close to his heart; he was training for another marathon.

Matthew was the tenth person known to have died on Greater Manchester’s roads in 2026.
