An 80-year-old man
An 80-year-old man died after being hit by a lorry while walking on Preston Road near Avondale Road, Standish, on 14 May.
He was the 19th person known to have died on Greater Manchester’s roads in 2026.
HGV driver arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
