Luke Hill, 28

Luke Hill, 28, died in a collision with a bus while riding a motorbike on Wigan Road at Alexandra Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, on 6 August.

His mother Sharon described him as her son, her rock and a much-loved part of the family.

“Luke was my son, my rock and a much-loved part of our family.”

Luke was the 26th person known to have died on Greater Manchester’s roads in 2026.
